The Booking fee secures the time and services of the Photographer(s) and/or the Studio and non-transferable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed as loss suffered by the Studio/Photographers due to cancellation.
All cancellations must be in writing.
Bookings that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as the photographer can re-schedule for the new date and time.
Artriva Studios operate a first come first served policy and it is not unusual for multiple enquiries for one date to come through, in order to be transparent about this we go by who reserved the slot online on our website.
However if a deposit has been paid and the customer has been booked in the diary the first come first served policy will be based on the first person to book and pay their deposit. No liability will be accepted if the customer takes it upon themselves to cancel their previously booked photographer prior to the Artriva Studio contract being signed. Further more, if a contract has not been signed then neither parties are liable to any action which may be sought.
We can not guarantee the replication of images you have found by another photographer on the internet, however every effort will be made to capture special requests.
An initial deposit of 50% shall be paid to confirm your Booking.
The final balance will be payable on / before the booking date. Post processing of the images/video would begin only after the final payment.
Payment can either be made online or through a bank transfer.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases / services availed from us. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, GSTIN, billing address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
Any corrections may be possible before the end of the calendar month ONLY.
The copyright of the images and all negatives, digital negatives, Raw images will be retained by Artriva Studios.
You the paying customer are implied to have received a personal use license for the images for print and online use such as on Social Media. Any commercial use of images from Family, Maternity, Matrimonial packages is strictly prohibited.
Commercial shoots such as e-Commerce, Catalogue, Product Photography etc. restricts to use of images ONLY by the brand/company/organization for which the shoot for billed for. (Ask for a separate release form if images are intended to be used by a 3rd party client. An additional documentation fee and/or licensing fee may be applicable)
Pricing for full image rights transfer on the is not mentioned on the website and an a totally different pricing is applicable for such requirements. (Signed release, NDA options are available)
We may display any photographs / video shot by us on our own web site, portfolio, literature, display areas, exhibitions, competitions, advertising or slide shows.
All image sizes are nominal. The Photographer/s will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to technical limitations, anomalous reflection caused by light bouncing off multiple coloured surfaces, combination of certain dyes, materials. It is sometimes impossible to record on film or digitally the exact colour as seen by a particular human human eye.
Any specific image requests will be attempted but can not be guaranteed due to various unforeseen circumstances out of the control of the photographer / post processing artists .
We may from time to time appoint a student/assistant to aid us during the shoot, any photographs taken by the student/assistant will not be seen as an extension of the contract and the photographs will be used for training purposes only. In the instances where the student photographer has taken a usable photograph, the image will be edited and passed on to the client.
There will always be a professional photographer(s) on location throughout the time of fulfilling the contract as agreed with the customer.
In the unlikely event of the assigned Photographer being unable to attend your event due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to appoint another photographer to attend your event on our behalf to undertake photography to his/her best ability.
Full day photography time limits will be as agreed during the consultation/quote.
However, should the photographer not attend the event without providing a replacement photographer a full refund will be issued.
We operate a zero tolerance policy and should the photographer(s) be threatened and/or intimidated by any guest/client during the photography session the photographer will leave the premises, no further photography will take place and no refunds will be offered.
Any deliverables will be at the sole discretion of Artriva Studios.
Any damage/harm to the team or to any equipment carried bt the team will be charged up to 10 times the price of a new replacement and/or lost wages.
All photographs will be placed in the album in a similar way to the image samples as shown on our sample albums.
If the customer has chosen to have a consultation with us, the album design will be shown to the customer and a similar layout will be issued.
No refunds will be accepted unless the images are unrecognisable and/or there is a substantial issue with the quality of the album build.
Once an album has been bought and paid for (due to pre-ordering) we can not accept any cancellations, all albums which have been bought and paid for which are subsequently cancelled will not be refunded to the customer.
Should our supplier of canvases and albums go in to liquidation or similar every effort will be made to obtain either the same or similar product which you have paid for. There may be an additional wait for the arrival of your product, but every effort will be made to ensure that a product is delivered.
When we print images you have ordered, small imperfections may become apparent when the image has been enlarged. This is completely out of the hands of both the printing company and the photographer and refunds will not be given if this is the case.
Printing defects due to printing processes only will be refunded and/or replaced. Images may have to be cropped, this is completely normal if the customer has requested a crop ratio to a size different to the ratio of the image they have. All crops will be sent to the customer for proofing prior to being sent to print. During the proofing process the customer has a chance to check whether there are any imperfections in the image which may become exaggerated when enlarged. Prints will look as close to the images you have on DVD as possible. However due to differences in TV/monitor screens there may be slight differences in colour. All prints are in sRGB unless otherwise requested and/or stated.
The average delivery time is usually one to six weeks but can sometime take more.
Time frames can vary based on season/time of year and will be calculated from the time you intimate us with the list of selected images.
Refunds are generally not available unless explicitly mentioned.
If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or replacement.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
When a booking is made, we block dates of our studio and/or our team exclusively for you and do not entertain any other bookings for your dates / slots. Hence a cancellation / rescheduling results in a loss of business. Hence only some Bookings made well in advance qualify for a refund (after deduction of charges) or rescheduling when intimated well in advance (usually 1 to 3 months prior)

Made more than 7 days prior the booking date : 15% of the Studio Charges for Cancellation / 5% for an earlier booking date, 10% for a later date.
Less than 7 days prior to the booking date: 35% of the Studio Charges for Cancellation / 10% for an earlier booking date, 25% for a later date.
Less than 36 hours prior to booking date/start-time: 50% for cancellation / 30% for a later date.
Rescheduling only on payment of 100% of the booking & rescheduling fee.

Made more than 60 days prior the booking date : 10% of the Charges as cancellation fee / Free for an earlier booking date, 5% for a later date

Made less than 30 days prior the booking date : 50% of the Charges as cancellation fee / Free for an earlier booking date, 25% for a later date.
Rescheduling / Cancellation can be made by intimating us immediately.
For your own security the Cancellation / Rescheduling is made only after we receive a written confirmation (a physical letter or by email)
Any rescheduling/cancellation fee would be based on the first communication of Guaranteed cancellation/refund.
Refunds are made to the account from which the original payment was made or to the account held by you (and intimated to us in writing by the originating payment account holder - proof may be asked when in doubt)

Actual time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on the mode of payment (i.e. CC, DC, Bank transfer etc.) and is as per timelines of the payment gateway / bank and is beyond our control.
